Pennsylvania Mountain is a mountain in Colorado. It is located 8 miles from Fairplay Claim and Sacramento Creek Claim. Claims on the mountain are run by Thomas Van Cura (Tom) and Randall Burk (Randy). The mountain contains large nuggets. In 1990, the Turtle Nugget, an 8-oz. nugget worth $100,000 was found on the slopes. Tom and Randy's working claim is 1/2-mile from and downhill from the summit claim. The Pennsylvania Mountain summit claim at 13,000-ft is prospected by the Hoffman Crew in season 7 for a possible third claim for season 8. The air at the summit contains 40% less oxygen than at sea level.
