Fairplay Claim

The Fairplay Claim is one of the highest mines in the U.S., located at 10,500 ft. up. The claim is filled with rocks, being the rockiest deposit seen by Fred Dodge. It is a glacial deposit placer mine. It is located 1-mi southeast of Sacremento Creek Claim. It is 8-miles from Pennsylvania Mountain. It is located next to the Platte River.

In season 7, the Hoffman Crew arrive with 5 weeks left in the season to salvage it, after failing at High Bar and then failing at Buckland. They join Freddy Dodge in mining the claim with his 20-year old washplant Rusty Red.
