Double Trouble is a washplant that processed 350 cu-yd/hr. It is the washplant for the Sacremento Creek Claim in Colorado. The plant broke down two years before season 7, when the Hoffman Crew added a second claim for the last quarter of the season. It is a washplant composed of two parallel trommels. It was originally built in the late 1950s with one trommel. A second trommel was added 20 years later.
The pay is washed into the trommels, and concentrate is washed into riffles below the trommels. To feed the washplant, the Hoffmans rent a Hopper feeder.
